The ottoman itself it a decent piece of furniture for the price. It's fairly sturdy and the top cushion is confy. However, the legs make the ottoman too tall to be comfortable when paired with a couch or loveseat. I removed the legs, though, and it looks just as well--or better--without them and is perfect foot resting height. The packaging when it was shipped was rather confusing. When I first received the item, I thought that the cushion and legs were missing from it. When I contacted Amazon about the problem, they directed me to who they said was the manufacturer. Turns out, it wasn't. The person they put me in contact with was actually another retailer who was able to tell me that the manufacturer stuffs the top cushion and the legs within the ottoman itself (you have to pull back the black fabric on the bottom to find the cushion and legs) to save on shipping costs. There were no instructions included to clue me in on this fact, though.
All in all, once the drama of the missing cushion and legs were resolved, I've enjoyed this item.
