This ottoman is very nice looking.When you receive it it comes in one large box with just the 'base' of the ottoman.The cushion part and the 4 legs are actually located inside the base of the ottoman. The bottom of it is covered in material like on the bottom of a chair or sofa, attached with velcro - pull back the velco and there is the cushion and the 4 legs.The manufacturer really should put a diagram or paper inside the box explaining where all the pieces are or on the box itself.I too found it confusing.
The ottoman looks terrific.It is very sturdy, surprisingly so.A friend of mine weighing 240 pounds sat on it and it held him easily.I would make sure the legs are securely and tightly screwed in if you use the legs (more on that later).It is also quite a large ottoman, easily accomodating two people.The microfiber is very nice but I don't think it is the best material for the top of the ottoman as this material is not the easiest to clean, so I put a small blanket on top of it.I also dislike taking my shoes off inside the house, especially as it is winter, so this was an easy fix for me.On another note, I do find the ottoman is quite high, certainly higher than my couch so my legs and feet are angled up a bit, where my feet actually were in the viewing range of my TV.This wasn't going to do, so I simply took the 4 legs back off and shoved them back up inside the 'secret compartment' where they were originally stored along with the top cushion.Now it is a perfect fit and very comfortable.
This ottoman is a very good value.The price is reasonable and it is very sturdy and nice looking.I'm very pleased with it.

I purchased this darling rocking chair for my granddaughter's first birthday.It was an absolute hit.....we had a hard time getting her out of it to open her other gifts.It is still a little large for her to get in and out by herself, but, she will grow quickly to be able to manuever it on her own.The quality and craftsmanship is of superior quality.I would highly recommend this chair to everyone.
