Two-Sided Spinning Tower - Black Review

I like this CD/DVD holder so much I bought a second one of these (for DVDs) when my first one filled up. (The first one I bought is used just for my CD collection.)

They came unassembled with all the tools necessary to completely assemble. It took me about 45 minutes the first time, but the second time was less than a half hour. They swivel beautifully. There are only two reasons I can't give it a 5:

1) A few of the screws don't stay in. This meant I had to use an extra couple of nails of my own. I hammered them into the tops to make sure the whole thing didn't come apart with excessive usage.

2) The shelves start to bend from the weight of the CDs. This doesn't seem to happen with DVDs so I guess they weigh less. The flexing isn't bad, but it is noticeable to me.

Another thing to note is that, when using DVDs there is a small space left that is big enough to use for CDs. It's too short for more DVDs, though. Since I hate the empty space, I place box sets and my own homemade CDs on that shelf. I bought these both in black.

Hillsdale Cierra Swivel Counter Stools Review

I needed 4 counter height stools that would fit at the end of a counter with a 24" x 51" overhang. These fit perfectly! 17" wide seats didn't take up too much room, so I could have 2 at the ends and 1 on each side. The black upholstry does seem to attract lint, but the fabric seems durable and has great padding on the seat and back-very comfortable, doesn't hurt my bony rear. My biggest complaint is the tapperd legs that flair out. The leg tips are on an angle at the floor and put many half moon shapped dents in our new oak floors. There are no chair glides available to fit these leg ends. I ended up putting 1/2" self adhesive felt pads on the leg ends. I expect they won't stay on long, so I'll have to keep and eye on them. The people at Hillsdale didn't have a solution for this problem, but they were understanding and pleasant. Too bad they didn't have a swivel chair glide to fit these legs. The stools assembled quickly, it helps to have someone sit on the stool when doing the final tightening of the screws so all the legs will sit evenly on the floor. I lucked out finding them at LNT which had a $99.99 price, with a B1g1 50% off sale and a 20% off coupon which totaled $129.98 for two. Best deal I could find. Overall these stools are very good, except for hardwood and vinyl floors, becaiuse of the dents the legs create.

Anji Mountain Bamboo Rug Co. Cobblestone Bamboo Rug 5' x 8' Review

This was a great purchase. It covers a large area.I bought several different bamboo rugs to cover new hard wood floors from dog paws.This way we still have hard wood floors but they withstand the jumping and running from dogs.There are built in anti slip mats under the rug.The rug does sometimes manage to get its end tucked under, but I think that is due to active dog play.The picture is accurate, the color is a nice rich chocolate with a few texture points.

This is a superb CD rack for the space conscious music lover who wants to highlight their CD/SACD collection (or a portion thereof, for those with larger libraries) in a clean, aesthetic manner.

The well constructed rack arrives as four pieces (2 base halves plus two rack halves) plus instruction sheet in a 26" x 6 1/2" x 6 1/4" shipping box.Styrofoam and cardboard inserts provide reasonable internal protection during transit, as long as shipping incurs no serious damage to the box sides.

Assembly is simple, requires no tools, and consists of plugging the two rack halves together (the lower half's socket ends accept the upper half's rod ends) and to the optional base.Alternatively, you can omit the base and wall mount the rack using the supplied screws and drywall anchors.

I really like this tower's minimal, modern, matte black look, as it allows you to store your discs in full view while not detracting from the room's other more interesting design attributes.

I used the base and placed the unit directly on a hardwood floor, a configuration that provides reasonable stability as long as neither children nor pets test its limits!

All in all, I highly recommend this product and am similarly pleased with Amazon's pricing and delivery.

I really wanted to love this fan. It looks good but it makes a squeaking noise that we cannot stop. A warning also for assembling...the screws are so tiny that they are really hard to handle.

Just got this chair.It's quite comfortable, sturdy, and seems well made for a very affordable price.

Assembly was very easy and took about 15 mintues.I'm not sure why other reviewers seemed to indicate some difficulty.One small piece of advice: don't tighten the bolts on the arms all the way until you have the whole chair assembled.That way, you leave yourself some give in the structure, making it easier to align the bolts with the holes.Once you have all the bolts in, tighten them up.
