The whole purpuse of investing in a CD rack is to be able to store your CD's in a relatively condensed manor, while at the same time helping to preserve the condition of the outer jewel cases.In that regard, it holds its own masterfully.The price is also very reasonable considering the total capacity of cd's that can be stored.
Just be forwarned that this storage rack (along with many others)is not intended to hold a large quantity of "double sized jewel cases" (commen with many Playstation one and 4 disk Japanese/ foregin 4 disk sets). IT IS INTENDED FOR SINGLE JEWEL CASES. it can only hold about 3 or 4 "double sized jewel cases".
Overall, a great value, just keep in mind the above inperfection.
