This tv stand is just as pictured and is very sturdy. It was easy to put together and came out of the box without a scratch. My baby tried to crawl up on it when I had my back turned for just a second and the stand didn't budge. The front silver panels and bottom base piece are actually solid wood that is painted to match the metal top piece, side pieces and back that all support the tempered glass shelves. I was worried that this stand would be low quality because of the low price, but that is NOT the case! I'm so glad I bought this stand and would recommend it to others.
