We bought this for our son to replace his toddler bed.It's big enough that I can lay down next to him for his night-night story, but not so big that he was intimidated by it.Don't be under any illusions about the drawers - they don't fit all that much.I keep his spare sheets/blankets in there.It's better than nothing.The bed seems sturdy (for the price) and I'm pleased with this purchase.My husband and I put it together - it wasn't difficult.I didn't rate it five stars because the interior parts (drawer sides, and supports inside the bed) are not the same finish as the outside of the bed and that just seems so cheap to me.
