I just received this bamboo mat in the mail today so while I cannot comment on its durability, I can say that it is a really cute, island-style decorative piece that exceeded my expectations.The quality seems quite high in terms of craftsmenship and the rug has a nice rubber backing to it so it looks like it will stay easily in place.The green is a nice soft color, also.
