Fashion Bed Group Newport Headboard Review

This headboard is decent quality, very pretty, and inexpensive.It was relatively simple to assemble and makes the bedroom more attractive than just a bare bed.It it is worth the price.

The only negative is that the the legs are too short and when the bed is attached, the headboard is hidden behind the mattress - especially because our mattress is a thicker type.We had to attach it to the bed frame very low on the headboardto raise it to the proper height, so that now the legs don't actually touch the floor in order for the headboard to be taller than the mattress.It is OK, but not as sturdy as I would have liked it.I figure it would have added about $5.00 to the price for the manufacturer to extend the legs to be tall enough.As it is, we will have to get some 5" or 6" wood blocks from Home Depot and glue them to the bottom if we want the bed to be solid and stable.We were kind of disappointed about that.However, it is an easy and inexpensive fix, and the finished product does not show the flaw at all.

Otherwise, it is a nice, inexpensive and easy way to spruce up a bare bedroom and make it look finished and furnished.
