Well, this coat rack was easy enough (though not super easy) to put together-- even though the plastic rings that are visible in the photo of it had to be somewhat bent to be screwed in since they were not a perfect fit.Bottom line-- the item is functional, just not that sturdy. So it can't take lots of heavy coats and-- most important!-- has to be evenly balanced or it will tip over.Believe me.
Maybe not the best item if you have little kids running around because, depnding on what is on it, it might not take much contact to topple over.
