Making A Rain Barrel: Soho Collection Rich Cherry Finish Hard Wood Chest / Dresser Review

This whole set is really very nice to look at.It is pretty decent quality, but don't expect the same quality as what you would find at a fine furniture store with the "name brands".You don't get dovetail joints, and you may find an imperfection or two in the finish.

Likes:
*Seems pretty sturdy.
*Beautiful color finish.
*Top drawer felt lined.
*Love the curve of the feet.

Dislikes:
*Drawers won't pull all the way out.It's some sort of "captive" drawer glide that prevents you from pulling the drawers out too far.Unfortunately, you can't even remove the drawer from the glide to replace the glides.So, if you plan to put large items that can't be folded or bent to fit in the opening (boxes), this is not the dresser for you.Once items are inside, there is plenty of space within the drawers.This is not limited to this unit.We got two end tables and the full dresser, and each of them has the same type of drawers.
* Some feet are not level.The first set of feet we got made the dresser wobble.We swapped them and it helped, but only completely replacing them fixed the problem.

All in all, it's a nice group of furniture.Well worth what you pay for it...and definitely a big step up from the "discount" furniture store inventory!
