We purchased this coat rack because it had lots of pegs for holding coats, appeared sturdy and was very attractive.Unfortunately, it broke the first time it fell over.It broke on the base where one of the legs is inserted.It was not repairable.Since we really liked the looks of the rack, we bought another identical one.The second rack broke in the exact same way the first time it fell over.It appears to be a design weakness in that the slot the legs slide into are too thin to withstand the pressure exerted on it when the rack tips over.We contacted the company and after several rounds of email, they said they would send us a new one if we shipped the broken one back to them.I offered to ship back the broken part instead of the whole rack and they declined.Given the time and expense involved in shipping the whole rack back, and the high probability the rack will break the first time it tips over, their offer did not seem like a good deal to me.We will find a different coat rack.Click Here to see more reviews about: Oak Finish Wood Hall Tree Coat Rack
