Stalkmarket 32-Ounce Barrel Bowl Lids, 300-Count Case Review

I ordered these thinking I had read that they were 32 ounce containers WITH lids. Not just the lids. They arrived super quick, but I have no use for just the lids. I was hoping to use them as disposable compost containers for the kitchen counter top. Washing the one I had was never a fun job. They seem sturdy, and I probably would have kept them if I could have found the containers they are supposed to go with.

Unfortunately, I could only find the 30 oz containers on amazon, not the 32 oz ones that these are supposed to fit, and the containers are actually kindof on the pricey side...especially for being made of sugar cane pulp. There must be some incredibly expensive difference between processing woody plant pulp in the traditional way vs. processing it in a home compostable way...or maybe because everyone is jumping on the "green" bandwagon, they figure they can just charge a whole lot more money for a non traditional product.

I sent this item back, but not because of a quality issue. Rather a convenience issue. I may have kept them if I could find the containers that they are supposed to fit, but then again, asuming the price was similar to the 30 oz containers, I may have returned them anyway.
