This product was great.It was easy to assemble and the lid with the dome made storage very easy.It sure holds a lot.It fits in any room, the casters make it easy to move, and the little ones won't get their fingers pinched in the lid.Quick arrival on time.I recommend this to anyone needing organization with little ones.They call it "their treasure chest"

this toybox was a gift for my new neice- she love her new 'toy'. the size, shape and coloring were all wonderful. it seems like a durable and decorative piece. it was also shipped in good timing which made the transaction as a whole pretty near perfect.

Spindle Toy Chest - Cherry Review

I ordered this product from another website.

I followed the instructions very closely.I did everything correctly.But, when I got to screwing on the metal hindges (which keep the lid from slamming down) to the wooden blocks (located on the lower coners of the lid angle) one of the wooden pieces broke (where the screws are) as the lid came down.The wood piece split in two.And, believe me I followed the instructions very carefully.I've subsequently seen other similar reveiws of this product elsewere.

Because the hindges don't work properly, the lid slams down if not held up.And, while this product does have a finger groove to protect little fingers, there is an area on the sides of the chest that are flush with the lid and thus fingers aren't protected here.

Luckly, a friend of mine is a craftsman and hopefully he'll be able to replace the broken wood piece and fix this problem.

If I were you I'd make sure and buy an assembled chest.I do not recommend this particular product, especially if you intend to assemble it yourself.

This bookshelf is a really nice product.Well made, easy to assemble, fits a lot of books.It is very big - I would strongly suggest measuring the area you will use it in.You won't be disappointed with the quality and the amount of books/toys that will fit.Shop around though - there are a lot of suppliers with all different price points.

Kidkraft Nantucket Toybox with Out Cushion Review

This is moderately better than the garbage toybox I bought at a store whose logo is a bullseye.This toybox is attractive, but very, very shallow.It holds almost nothing.The primary reason for this is that it values form over function.The feet add to the height, but detract from the function.It remains low enough for a toddler to easily access; but because it's raised, that directly "steals" the storage volume.

I'm too lazy to disassemble, repackage, and return it.If you are looking for an attractive piece of furniture to match other pieces, buy it.If you're looking for a better toybox without needing to do the woodwork & finishing yourself, skip this.

We bought this toy box for our nursery, and we absolutely love it!This toy box is very easy to put together (I assembled it myself, and I'm 7 months pregnant), and the instructions are very clear.This toy box is also very solid.I can sit down on the top and it doesn't give an inch.
Also, we really like the safety hinge that prevents the toy box lid from slamming shut on fingers.You have to push the lid to get it to close.We would highly recommend this chest for its durability, simple instructions, and its beauty!

We've bought and returned several inexpensive chests...all "knockdown" ones that come in a million pieces and never quite fit together right. This one, although it also requires considerable assembly, was made of quality materials and really fit together perfectly. Highly recommended.

Dark Cherry Finish Kid's Storage Toy Box Review

This chest looks nice, is good quality (appears to be all solid wood from what I can tell), and is sturdy.I'm not sure if adults should sit on it on a regular basis but I think it could accomodate just about any child.It was also relatively easy to put together (only took me about half an hour WITH my 19 month old son trying to help).It looks great in our entry way and is a nice place to hide toys.It is short (as the description height suggests) and could not accomodate all of a kid's toys, but it can handle most of my son's daily toys he plays with in our living room.
