This is a very cheap made bed.The drawers fall apart, the pressboard on the bed breaks as you are attempting to put it together.Do not buy this item. you will regret it. I had read the other reviews and thought, Oh well, it will be fine for what I will be using it for.no way.fell apart instantly.

This bed is great.I purchased this bed along with a tall bookshelf headboard when I moved into a new place that didn't have room for both my dressers. The drawers are not as big as you would get in a dresser, but there are six of them, so it was exactly what I needed for the additional storage.

The packages are pretty heavy, which was the first sign that the material is of quality.It took several hours to put together, and you definitely need a partner to do it.Nothing is labeled explicitly, but once you get a hang of the materials and directions the assembly is not difficult despite it taking so long.Having a drill screwdriver definitely is a must; it would otherwise take forever.Once constructed, I found the bed to be really sturdy and solid.The drawers slide easily and fit great into their slots.Overall, the bed does not feel or look cheap.

I am very pleased with this product, especially at this price.I've already gotten compliments on it and am excited when I see it my bedroom!

we had read reviews about this bed before purchasing it and other people had mentioned that it was difficult to put together. i think the issue is that it is time consuming. this is not a bed frame. it is a platform bed which is taking the place of your box-spring. the entire foundation needs to be built. that being said, the directions were easy to follow, all parts were included and they even provide you with a phone number to call should you run into any difficulty. (only available M-F)my husband put together this piece and the matching headboard on his own and it took him 9 hours, so you may want to plan on having a helper. on the whole we are extremely pleased with our purchase. it is a sturdy, beautiful piece of furniture and fits in perfectly with a simple, modern style.

Prepac Monterey Cherry Tall Queen Platform Storage Bed with 12 Drawers Review

There is way too much plastic and cheap composite in this frame for the price.This item had a few knicks when it arrived, due to poor packing since they were on the inside and not facing the box.The drawers have metal guides, which is why I gave it a 2 instead of a 1.Without the scratches, I would have given it a 3.I am satisfied enough to not spend $100+ to return it and the drawer storage is nice.

If you are looking for an OK storage bed frame and can't find another one that is a better value (I haven't looked), then this would be OK.Since it will take at least a week to arrive, take a few days to find something else.

Phoenix Collection Queen Size Book Case Chest Bed w/Drawers Review

I still love this bed...it's beautiful.One word of warning...not really warning, but be aware that because this is a platform bed with drawers, it is quite high!I am still getting used to how high it is being as I am under 5'2" !So, I kind of feel like a little girl climbing up into and out of bed! I think I just need more time to get used to it.This would not be a good idea for someone who has trouble with their joints or mobility, though, unless they were super tall.

If I had room in my very small bedroom I'd go back and order the other bedroom pieces to match.I couldn't be happier with the quality of this bed.I researched platform beds for over a year...wanted the perfect match of lots of storage and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. This is the one!One more word- the very dark wood allows me to see dust quicker...which on one hand is annoying because I have to get out my dust rag, but on the other hand it's quite good because dust should not be allowed to gather for too long, so it's also helping me to stay on top of cleaning this bedroom.

I love my bed-I feel like a queen and it's my favorite piece of furniture in my whole home!

South Shore Furniture, Step One Collection, Full/Queen Storage Platform Bed 54"/60" Review

I'm a graduate student, and really, the Platform beds made by South Shore are not worth the money. I got mine (from someone other than Amazon) and tried to lift it up the stairs to my apartment with one friend. Clearly labeled on the box was the weight, a mere 276 lbs. I got it upstairs, and put the bed together. To be honest, it looked great, at first and I was very happy. However, the bed is held together mainly by screws and "plastic dowels." Over time however, the screws all loosened, which caused the bed to creak and shift. Since this is made out of particleboard, there is no strong fibers to hold the screws in place. My aggravation with this reached a highpoint when one of the supporting boards located under the platform flipped on its side, causing the center of the bed to sag a good 1"-2" down. I needed to unscrew the entire top of the platform to get to the board, flip it up, and add more screws. Overtime, movement just pulls the screws (and little bits of lovely wood particles) out of the bed. The solution? More screws in different places. I just moved the bed to a new apartment, and to be honest, it's not going to another one. It looks good, but it won't stay looking good for more than a year (you'll see all the new screws). In retrospect, I would have just purchased a simple durable bed, rather than this monolith.

Prepac Sonoma Double/Full Tall Platform Storage Bed, Black Review

I was hoping this product would actually be "RTA" as advertised, but the amount of extra labour necessary to assemble it was astonishing! Especially considering it comes with NO ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS. If you want those you have to go to the website and order them... The holes were misaligned and shallow, requiring a power drill to even begin assembly. The drawers were flimsy and the bottoms slid out of them every time you closed it. Good luck returning it too, I've been trying for the last three weeks. It seems UPS only wanted to take the main box with the headboard and other chipped plywood and leave me with the drawers, rails, and slats. It was shipped by Amazon (the returns center, I believe *ahem*), but I am very disappointed with this product and the way it was handled. I wish I could rate it lower than 1 star, epic fail.
