My husband thought I was nuts for purchasing this... until the rain barrel arrived, and he realized we wouldn't be able to fit a watering can under the spigot without the stand! It's sturdy, the right size and height, and does help us use the rain barrel more efficiently.The only drawback was the price, and perhaps the lack of color choice, but it was a useful purchase. I'd recommend it if you buy the flat backed rain barrel.
