Don't like this barrel at all. I didn't have it set up quite level and when it was approx' 2/3rds full it tumbled over and ripped the top completely off, the stitching just gave away completely. Also it was very difficult to hook up to a divert-er type downspout. I've either got to throw it away or find a way to re-attach the lid and I don't sew!!! Also the valve at the bottom is backwards, when the lever is inline with the flow it's off and vice-versa for on, very strange.

156 gallons is pretty big for a rain barrel but the saving grace for our application is that it is placed out of the way in a nook where it will not be seen.When it is half full (half-empty, take your pick), the legs lean inward and the whole thing sags.If you live where there is so much rain year round that it will almost always be full, this would not be a problem, but then maybe you wouldn't need one.Rigid acrylic ones are much smaller but more attractive if you are going to put one where it will be seen.Zipper has come apart and so far can be fixed by unzipping, rezipping, but I wonder how well it will last.

Rain Barrel-Collapsible-74 Gallon Capacity Review

It is a nice and easy to use rain barrel. The only downside is that the holes on the grating is really big which allows small dirt particle and also mosquito to get into the water. It would have been better if the holes were like wire meshing - this would prevent mosquitos from getting in.

It is easy to install and at the moment I have a full barrel of water which I am using in the garden to water the vegetable garden.. being ecofriendly has its benefits as Houston City has just increased their water rates!!!
