We are very happy with our headboard. It was easy to put together. Two cautions: the box is over six feet long and over 70 pounds. Our UPS driver was female and couldn't deliver the box alone!!! Thankfully my husband and son were home to take care of it. Then when I finished the headboard, I needed a helper again to move it to where we wanted it. The packing was very good. There was one chipped corner of one piece which was not very visible so we installed it as it was. Also, the top and side facing pieces are not screwed, but have plastic screw-looking dowels to hold them in place. I caution you not to pound them too much. I did and there are a few places where it is raised slightly from the force of my trying to get them on there securely. Gentle tapping is sufficient.
