I gave the fountain to my mother for Mothers Day (she sent me an email with the link to it showing exactly which one she wanted,lol) and she absolutely loves it.She had a fountain in her backyard for years,which broke last year,and since then she "hasnt been able to find just the right one" until she came across this one.It came almost fully assembled. I think you just needed to do one small thing and then just add water and start.The material used for the barrel looks just like real wood unless you are pretty close to it, but either way its a very nice looking fountain. Everyone comments on how much they love her new fountain. I would definally order "Little Giant" products again. They seem to have very nice, sturdy, outdoor items.Overall I am quite happy with the purchase.

And I still miss it. I didn't actually LOSE my marble (rolling pin, of course) - the cats knocked it on the floor and the handle cracked. This is a fairly worthy replacement however. Even though the thing is HUGE, it's not quite as heavy as my more traditionally-sized marble one which is a drawback - if the pin is heavy, it does all the work so you don't have to. But it's super long which I love, and it rolls just as well as you could expect a pin should.

Secondarily, when I lived alone, I used to keep a Maglite D-Cell flashlight under the pillow in my bed - I figured would-be attackers would, at the very least, get a bump on the head and a surprise if they broke in. I have my 200 pound foster-son in the house now so my bed just has me and my cats in it, but, if you DO happen to be a girl on her own, this looks like a GREAT under-the-pillow attacker-smasher if you're so inclined.

I was actually searching for other customer reviews in hopes of finding some helpful hints for this contraption.We purchased this product at Target about a year ago because we had relatives who had such good luck with their old fashioned crank-style ice cream churns.We liked the classic design and the electric mixing option.But we've had quite a bit of difficulty with this.The electric mixer seems to mix the cream too fast--often producing an almost "foamy" result.The crank method produces better results, but the crank mixing mechanism makes a lot of noise and doesn't work smoothly...and it takes a looong time for the ice cream to freeze (over 45 minutes for just a small batch--our salt/ice mixture tested 25 degrees).I was hoping I would find some positive reviews that would be helpful...but we bought a Cuisinart 2 qt. electric Ice Cream Maker tonight instead.:-(Anyone with positive experiences, please review as we'd be happy to dig this thing out and use it for company if we could know there was a way to get good ice cream in the end!Otherwise, I'm afraid that this product had a lot of potential, but is rather impractical--especially considering the fact that more user-friendly electric ice cream machines can be bought at a similar price.

I recently purchased this item as a future Christmas present, but will review it briefly.Because the stain from the barrel is on the underside of the candelabra, it will not be readily visible on display.Lifting it up though, the stains are visible.The phrase in the description referencing the smells of wine from the product are hyperbole, or at least I wasn't able to detect anything close to wine-created scents.On display, I think the natural curve of the stave is beautiful, and makes this a unique gift for a wine-lover.
