Versa Mirror - Ebony Review

This is, in part, a copy of my review on the double dresser. I would have preferred more expensive bedroom furniture, but the staircase in this 125 year old house is too narrow and has too many corners to bring anything much larger than a coffee table upstairs. So... assemble-it-yourself has been the only way to go. I purchased the media stand from this collection first, and was pleased with the sturdy construction, the attractive finish and hardware, and ease of assembly. This mirror is no different, and I'm pleased with it for the price. The mirror is very heavy plate glass with no distortion. The ebony color is very dark chocolate and black with a soft satin gloss. It's quite neutral and blends well with antique Persian carpets and Tiffany style lamps, though it would work with modern decor, too. Most of the pieces come with a touch-up marker to fix nicks or scratches. I've also purchased the tall chest, nightstand, and mirror. They're all good, basic pieces to decorate around, and reasonably priced for what you get. I purchased the mirror at [...] through an Amazon link to external websites. They shipped promptly and their customer service was very helpful on a replacement mirror.The shipping company broke the frame and the seller expedited a replacement with virtually zero hassle.

I got many compliments on this gorgeous set.It is even more beautiful in person.Anyone who saw it was drawn to it, and the kids loved it.It is very sturdy, although one slat did break, but I think it just had a loose staple.Even adults sat in the chairs and they had no problems.The only downside I had was that the paint came off in chips a little more readily than a child's table and chairs should.

Jade Media Sectional Ottoman Dark Brown Leather Review

The ottoman is OK, but I would not purchase it if I had seen it in person. Delivery was very prompt.
On delivery, I took the ottoman out of the packing and inspected for any damage. It was good.After the delivery man had gone, I opened the lid of the item (it's a storage unit ottoman), and one of the hinges was not even connected at one end, so the top wouldn't close and it just flopped to the side.This would have been an assembly error, not a delivery issue.My husband fixed that, but I wonder if we will have trouble in the future with it.
The item is heavy and cumbersome when I'm vacuuming.My husband has removed the legs and installed casters on the bottom so it can move with ease.

Aynsley Ivory White Metal Full Bed w/Bed Frame Head & Footboard Review

The bed itself is very sturdy and beautiful from a distance.There is allot of spaces where the welding was not a complete seal so there is what looks like black holes and long spaces between the white decorative pieces and the white swirling bars.The holes are not all that noticeable from a distance yet for someone that's a perfectionist its rather bothersome to Me.The directions were very complete and it was easy to put together HOWEVER, if you are buying this for a full sized bed they send you a queen and the bars on the top and bottom are wider than the bed which again will drive someone that is a neat freak insane.I was excited to have a metal bed because I like cold on my feet so I can pop My tootsies out the bottom of the covers and touch the bars with My toes as I fall asleep.Their not cold their cool because of the coating I guess...I prefer cold because during hot summers its nice to touch something cold as you sleep its very soothing to Me.I'm sure most people prefer not to feel cold bars which may be a plus for you while a negative factor for Me.The bed is VERY HEAVY so if you like to use stands to make your bed taller (like I do) you will be out of luck.I want to make it clear for the money they ask for this bed they should have filled in the gaps in the welding before painting it.While its not priced as high as designer pieces this set was a nice chunk of change and I would expect at a minimum a smooth complete finish if not flawless.
